Fiat 600 D Abarth 850 TC, year 1962. Colour white with a red leatherette interior trimmed with white piping. Black rubber carpet with a protective anthracite/red rubber protective mat on top. This magnificent Fiat Abarth is officially named: Fiat 600 D ‘derivata’ Abarth 850 TC. The extensive description means that the car was built in the Fiat factory and that the Fiat was then completed at the Abarth factory in Turin as a Abarth 850 TC. This stunning Fiat was sold new to a Mr. Russo Dolofero a resident of Sicily at that time. The car was entered for racing competitions in the south of Italy early in its life. Photos are present of the car at the Peragusa circuit in 1965. In the 1970ies and 1980ies the car was garaged, and many years later, in the year 2006, the car was discovered by the Sicilian brothers Corrado and Maurizio Valvo. The brothers had the Fiat Abarth restored to its current superb TOP condition! The engine is ‘nearly matching’ (engine number 144 instead of the original number 140) and it was fully overhauled by the renowned specialist Berni Motori in Malao, Northern-Italy. This rare and stunning REAL Abarth is registered in the Netherlands since the year 2016. A TOP-specimen!
